Outdoor Tennis 2 Court Parallel LED Lighting Retrofit Package for Courtsider XL 12 fixtures

This court package is an ideal retrofit for existing Courtsider XL lighting setups.  This package is designed for 2 parallel courts that have a total of 12 fixtures and 9 poles.   3 of the poles are double mounts.  The package includes 12 fixtures with tilt brackets and mounting tenon adapters to work with existing poles.  The 15° tilt allows for the lights to be positioned farther outside of the court area, reducing installtion costs, increasing court light levels and reducing glare.  The low EPA of the fixtures insures there won't be any wind load issues.  Evenly distributed fixtures are most ideal for an outdoor court.

In the main photo the lighting layout shows roughly 18 fc.   These factors can change depending on the playing surface color and the distance the fixtures are mounted from the court.   This light fixture is a one for one replacement with a standard sports lighter 1000 watt HID fixture.

Installation: So long as the existing poles are in good condition free of rust the poles should be reused.   The existing fixture and 90 arm should be removed to expose the 2 3/8 tenon top on the pole.   The BKA mounts directly on top of this.   The quick install mount and BKA are both predrilled for easy alignment and installation.   Then simply connect the fixture to the tilt mount.   Detailed instructions are available.   Estimated time of labor per fixture should be quick at no more than 15 minutes.

The biggest advantage of this lighting system is glare control.   The LEDs are set a little deeper than other lighting fixtures making them ideal for tennis.   The light spill outside of the the target area is tightly controlled and should not need side shields
